Do you ever visit the art gallery? My son Max (7) enjoys going on outings to our local gallery and dressing up in his suit jacket — he loves taking the opportunity to get a bit fancy.

This bright book includes loads of fun facts about Catherine and women of her time – did you know it was fashionable for Russian ladies to wear little patches of fabric in the shapes of suns, stars and moons on their faces as decoration? It also presents history, provides art activities among the playful illustrations, and features images and details about artworks in the exhibition.
