We talk all things fashion and party in our September issue.

Ever met someone new and been asked, ‘What do you do?’. I don’t know about you, but that question strikes mild panic in me. When you answer, do you launch into details of your career, or how you parent? It’s easy to respond when we’re living by our values and reaching our potential, but what about when we’re lacking clarity? This month’s lead story It’s Got Potential talks us through steps to take when our life path feels unclear. I hope you feel as validated and inspired by it as I did. In the words of author Annie Dillard, “How we spend our days is how we spend our life”. I hope your days continue to be meaningful.

September Issue of CHILD Magazines

Here at CHILD, one of our core values is teamwork, and this month we’ve all chipped in to create the first ever team issue. It’s been inspiring to see everyone throw themselves at the task with enthusiasm. It’s a party in a magazine.

September Issue of CHILD MagazinesSpeaking of parties, this month is our ‘Fashion & Party’ issue. Isn’t our cover a bundle of fun? Our cover kids are Digital Editor Babs’ gorgeous littlies, and they were an absolute delight to work with, as were the wonderful A Pop of Love photography studio. I’ve never seen so much confetti in my life. Also a big thanks to Milk & Masuki for the gorgeous clothes. And our Australiana Birthday Party spread has us all nostalgic for fairy bread and lamingtons.

September Issue of CHILD MagazinesFinally, Man Camp tells one dad’s story at a camp to mark his teenage son’s transition into manhood. It’s a great reminder of how important it is for boys to learn to communicate their emotions, and the power of strong father/son relationships.

September Issue of CHILD MagazinesI hope you and your team are having a lovely day.
