We are such huge fans of Children of the Tribe here at CHILD Mags so we couldn’t resist sharing this gorgeous short film, Slow, they created to launch their new range Slow Livin’.
Shot by cinematographer Stefan Jose and directed by Lincoln Caplice, the two-minute film was inspired by a desire to live more mindfully, to discard schedules and unplug from electronics – laughing, talking and truly connecting with loved ones.
Slow is centred on Elisa and Rhys Sawyer – a property-living-analogue-loving-genetically-blessed couple and their four children – Sonny, 7, Lola, 5, Scout, 3 and 18- month-old Tex – who live on a property in Australia’s Northern New South Wales region with chooks, tree houses, a vegetable patch, tree swing, dogs, a creek, a vintage caravan and troop carrier.
Children of the Tribe Founder and Creative Director Emma McClean (we wrote about her here) says the film serves as a wonderful reminder to not be too busy to savour those little moments – the simple things in life – which are the big moments for kids.
p.s my kids LIVE in Children of the Tribe so I can personally vouch for their beautiful items.
